Another episode is up, revisiting an interview with Kenny: A Newfoundlander in Vancouver.
Apologies for some audio quality issues in this one. Working out a new workflow.

If anyone knows a Newfoundlander or Labradorian in or around Toronto, ON who may be interested in participating in a Salt Water Thesis episode, please reach out!
Really excited to be back at the podcast from September 2024, and hoping to start again strong!
@breebangjensen It did! It seemed appropriate because it works on multiple levels: one of the things I intended to explore was that NL is still a colonial enterprise, but also to provide room for other voices, and acknowledge the role of the sea in NL's history and economy.
It's been a while! Here's a quick little proof-of-life episode, including a "Reflection on Praxis" that I recorded for a course in the Fall 2019 semester.
Here's hoping it doesn't take long to get the next episode out, but we're living in weird times.

Podcasting in the time of COVID-19: our fourth interview is up now!
It's very possible that further in-person interviews may be hard to arrange given the public health situation. Here's hoping I'll work something out before 30 March!

Ugh. Heads up that a new episode of Salt Water Thesis is ready to go, but it’s trapped on a computer with a broken screen. I’ll see if I can work something out to free it tomorrow. Apologies for yet another delay!
In lieu of a full episode this week, here's a short episode reflecting on decolonisation, Wet'suwet'en, indigenous communities in NL, and why "settler" is not an insult.

Posting in the dead of night from work to apologize: I was not able to arrange an interview for an episode this week. I will try and have something ready for 24 feb instead.
Now on Apple Podcast and Spotify, the new Salt Water Thesis is up. Soundcloud is being weird, but hopefully it'll be up there too shortly.
Thanks to my old friend Steve for being our second interview!

Want to melt your brain? This video is basically hate mail to the province of NL from some disgruntled Albertan, with the Meech Lake accord (of all things) as its stated grievance.
