@souljagoyteller A lot of this stems from confusion about the legal definition of genocide and the introduction of the term ethnic cleansing for situations people don't feel meets the death count of a genocide but clearly is.

@himbopresident Also makes me sad because based on my experience as a parent, young kids are naturally curious about maps and like memorizing geography. I think there is an assumption maps are boring in elementary that isn't born out in practice.

Now is the time to be brave. Republicans in Georgia have controlled our state for over 20 years leading to underfunded schools, closing hospitals, & low wages stuck at $5.15.

I'm running for Governor to change that.

ICE dragged off a U.S. Permanent Resident from the home he shares with his pregnant wife without showing a warrant, giving a reason for his arrest or informing her where he is being held.

This is absolute lawlessness reminiscent of some of the darkest chapters of modern history.

@lxeagle17 I think it's also important to acknowledge that the personal cost of advocating for Palestinian rights has gone up considerably in the past six weeks, as demonstrated by the Khalil arrest you posted about earlier. People should still do it, but takes more courage!

@himbopresident You will be stuck with it for 4-14 years, one way or the other, so the most important criterion is that it is fascinating to you. Figure out what you are most curious about first then it can be workshopped for fit etc.
