If you don’t fancy paddling in raw sewage when there are alternatives / please sign and share this petition https://t.co/3D9SHg57k8 widely - the image of raw sewage on the coast over the last 48 hours is very concerning #pollution#ClimateAction@BBCBreaking
"We were told any number of times that you can’t beat the powers that be. We were up against a £2bn contract, a council, a multi-national company, a High Court injunction – everything. But we won hands down in a way we hope will inspire other people."

@bradfordmdc A little bit rich to suggest members of the public fork out for trees considering the number that you removed along Victoria Road and never replaced. @SaltaireTrees
@NisaSaltaire @SaltaireWebsite @SaltaireTrees@bradfordgreens The current site is an absolute eyesore, and is the first thing visitors coming from the direction of Bradford see. Something needs to be done with the site, however I don’t think another convenience store is either wanted or needed. Independent shops are amazing in Saltaire.
👉Saltaire be aware of a planning application that will create congestion, reduce road safety, detract from our lovely village and threaten the livelihoods of our local shops - https://t.co/8tBEcGbBpa @SaltaireWebsite @NisaSaltaire#shoplocal#share@bradfordgreens
Im thinking can we do a standing at our doorsteps on Saturday night to mark our solidarity in deploring the prevalence of violence against women and girls .let’s make a public stand on this - we all know it goes on -let’s stand together against it x I suggest 9.30pm?xxxxx
Nigel Farage is trending yet again, and reminding us that he has 1.6 million followers - a million more than this account to support NHS staff.
Surely there are more people who support NHS staff than support him?
Please follow and RT to help put things right.
This tragic air pollution landmark case has significant impact raising awareness of the responsibility of local authorities to protect air quality - @bradfordmdc please consider this in relation to traffic and the Airedale incinerator #ella#airpollution#lessonlearned
This is a landmark moment and thanks to years of campaigning by Ella’s mother Rosamund, who has shown an extraordinary amount of courage. I'm pleased to have supported the family in their efforts to secure justice. Today must now be a turning point. 1/2 https://t.co/QH8bnvx0SB
Thrilled to see the planting of trees in Bradford - could have done without the council chopping down the lovely trees we had in Saltaire @BBCCountryfile
