I know i've been banging on about plagiarism and a parasitic poker media industry a lot in the last week but this is too clear an example not to highlight.
So yesterday, WSOP releases their 2025 schedule. A couple of media sites get embargod info to help disseminate this info.
@pokerprojones @WSOPcom @PokerStars@redbullracing Wonder if GG will partner with an F1 team, (is there even still time?) and then run international promos in conjunction with WSOP?
@RealKidPoker I just found it surprising in this really volatile environment where everyone calls out everyone who they deem to have cheated that this isn't seen as such
Not sure I agree with this take from @RealKidPoker that Phil Ivey getting found guilty of edge sorting was a catastrophic precedent to make, as he never touched the cards etc, etc, etc.

With all the witch-hunts/ allegations on cheating in recent years cf. Postle, Lew, G-man etc, how is this the take?
In Ivey's case it was Baccarat not poker, but still. He literally was caught cheating - it upheld in a court of law
Just don't get it, what am I missing?
And ok, Ivey settled the American portion of the law suit in 2020 but Borgata still sued him for over $15m in damages and it still went to court. More than be said of other cheating scandals.
