🚨 NEW: David Lammy is set to announce he's scrapping jury trials for "either way" cases later today
These are offences like assault, burglary and drug dealing that fall between minor and serious crime, giving defendants the right to choose the Magistrates' or Crown Court
Paying a group you did not elect and that the populace did not agree to pay is subjugation. Any government wilfully becoming a UN vassal state hates its people.
Moreover what do you actually get for your money? UN doesn’t stop wars. Ukraine was a total failure, Gaza a total failure, there’s still a genocide happening in Nigeria. Complete waste of money.
This week, the UN is attempting to pass the first global carbon tax , which will increase energy, food, and fuel costs across the world. We will not allow the UN to tax American citizens and companies.
Under the leadership of @POTUS, the U.S. will be a hard NO. We call on other nations to stand alongside the United States in defense of our citizens and sovereignty. @IMOHQ

Also police cars are higher risk of accidents, electric car accidents are far more likely to turn fatal. Emergency services are told to leave burning electric cars until fire service gets there to avoid dying of electric shock.
Who would want to put their officers in these higher risk situations for the sake of Net Zero?Bonkers.
@ThatAlexWoman Wasn’t that long ago 3 people were murdered in a “mental health” incident in Nottingham. Incitement from any group shouldn’t be tolerated by police.
Universities used be a place for students to grow. Professors would be encouraged to challenge student ideas, and in return students would challenge professors. Steel sharpens steel.
Now students walk out when something conflicts with their current views and universities are enabling it.
@BestForBritain Makes zero logical sense. French people are majority white, the same race as the people supposedly 'rounding them up'. So who is a victim of racism here?
Immigration status is not a racial identifier.
Moreover, what precedent does this set if failing businesses are bailed out? Why bother mitigating risks at all when you’ll just get bailed out by tax payers at the end of it all.
In April they sold just 49 cars as opposed to 1,961 in April 2024. What convenient timing to be bailed out.
I understand that it’s a British business and we should protect them because it’s in our national interest, but isn’t that what led to 2008? Banks knew they’d be bailed out so were happy to take large risks at the ordinary persons expense.
