Static Ideology festers; tribalism is the absence of thought. The problems of the world cannot be solved with binary solution sets. "Think" not "Believe".
@zarahussain999@SkyNews Without?
No.
With.
If you can't communicate with a patient? How the FUCK are you supposed to treat them?
The reason these requests happen is not because the attending nurse or doctor is brown.
It's because they are more often than not ALSO incapable of speaking English.
@BasedIrishDad It always eats itself.
But you're not "Confederate", "Klan", "Poor", "Hippie", "Banksta", "Weird" or "Muslim" enough.
And when they decide you're not "enough", they kick you out.
The only people left are the Retarded.
@narindertweets Postmodernism happened.
It's rolling back as people realize this was a widespread subversion effort by Marxists.
It's cost to western society has been extreme.
@karen_kilburn@trasher_NAVI000@ConceptualJames The world is an inequal place, with threats and dangers - often more in the mind than in reality.
Which is why the proof was required - to overcome the misguided fears of men who struggled with them.
When women proved themselves, those arguments faded as belief was dismantled.
@karen_kilburn@trasher_NAVI000@ConceptualJames I would argue Equality is proven through actions.
Women broke through the barriers and proved beyond any doubt that they could be as competitive in industry and professional life as men, and in politics.
Activism and lobbying may have catalyzed it, but it wasn't the reason.
@harukaawake Islam was never truly a faith that Arabs had. It was colonialism.
To decolonisation effectively we should force Muslims to stop practising Islam.
Same argumentation, different angle.
@Milajoy This is the kind of immigrant we - everywhere in the West - are proud to welcome.
Not because of his politics.
Because of his LOYALTY to his adopted nation.
NHS nightmare update:
After three days, my wife still hadn't received an ultrasound or an appointment for one, despite suspected deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
She runs out of blood-thinner injections in a few days, but we were just told wasn't considered "Urgent" by the Radiology department, and hasn't been referred DVT clinic, despite the risk to her and the babies.
We were told on Monday and Tuesday to expect a call from Scans that day, and to call back if we hadn't heard anything. We call back today, and the below is what we got before being passed onto the switchboard. (Excuse my disheveled appearance.)
After being passed between departments, we called Maternity Triage again, and a kind English woman answered the phone, listened to everything that happened, and said she would call us back with news within half an hour.
Five minutes later, she called back with a scan appointment for tomorrow morning, and immediate follow-up with Maternity. Couldn't have been more helpful.
Hopefully we get to the bottom of this tomorrow, and she gets prescribed the treatment she needs to keep her and the girls safe.
In the meantime, my Nan has been taken into hospital and kept overnight for complications related to her chronic blood cancer. It's treatable, but not curable, and by all accounts she's being well attended to.
A stressful time for the Tomlinsons. Thanks for all your prayers and support.
@GadSaad To be fair. DEMOCRACY sucks. It needs litmus testing...
Not of ideas.
Of voters. A pulse and a proof of age card should not be the only requirements a citizen has for voting.
