I don’t understand the hysteria over #NUFC not being able to sign anyone or having to potentially sell. We’re not even 2 seasons in to this new project, we knew it was going to take time. Enjoy the ride! CL for the first time in decades and you would think we’re doomed!
@PlumsGinger They need the match day revenue up for FFP. Better Commercial deals, advertising, accommodate businessmen etc. it’s all about becoming a bigger global brand. But a bigger stadium gives you both options. I don’t think it’s the problem people are building it up to be.
@PlumsGinger Yeah but that’s just a guide. I honestly think people are reading too much into the “posh” areas. Unfortunately to be a modern club we need them but it can work in tandem with the average fan like it does all over Europe. Hey I might be wrong.
@PlumsGinger Let’s say they expand to 65k, even if they double the corporate areas 90% of it would be “normal tickets”. It’s a balance in every modern stadium in Europe.
@FBAwayDays Surely it will just lead to the exact same problems we have now but the other way around? It would work atm if VAR was given a short timeframe to judge offside, if they can’t tell, then the striker hasn’t gained that much of an advantage and just give the goal.
@toonreport_ Fuck me man, we’ve been scrapping for survival for the last decade, it’s going to take longer than 1 season to turn us into a successful club.

This week Tory MPs refused to vote for a windfall tax on fossil fuel giants.
@worflags St holders / regular match goers who want to wave a flag should message you their seat number and you could distribute the flags between a built up list of their seats for each home game. Potentially more reliable than random distribution?
