Thank you @marathontalk. I'll miss you. To @myelling, @tomwilliams1974, @rushbynature, @TonysTrials & the whole team - like so many, you've been with me in spirit on hundreds of runs. I'll always be grateful. Here's a favourite memory of mine. These days my son runs parkrun too!

@buggyrunningdad @RunComPod Definitely easier & quicker without, but pushing the kids around had it's merits too. They can be very cute. I do a lot of trail running with them too - stiles always interesting. Fortunately they're well used to being bumped around & actually enjoy it.

Love these Christmas Day parkrun stats. Running at Poolsbrook with the kids on Christmas morning and volunteering on Boxing Day at Olympic Legacy Park juniors were highlights of our Christmas. #loveparkrun

🌲 25 Dec 2021 was only the 3rd Saturday Xmas Day since parkrun began!
🌲 The others were 2004 (1 event) & 2010 (31 events)
🌲 This year there were 975 5k events!
🌲 3,762 people completed their first 5k parkrun

Really proud of my first born. His 5k parkrun journey has begun in earnest, 3 years after his first juniors. I wouldn't have dreamt of running a 5k at the age of 7. I had barely even considered it at 30! #loveparkrun @parkrunuk @WithMeNowPod
