The elections in Botswana went the way it went. Some are dreaming that what happened in Botswana could happen in Namibia. But it is a dream. In their slumber, they are forgetting a few differences. Namibia has the first female presidential candidate fielded by SWAPO. She is a unifier and she is a mother for all. Over the last 2 years the SWAPO Party, and indeed the nation, has united around her. The opposition in Botswana built a coalition aligned to the former President Ian Khama. The fight was between Masisi and Khama. None of that happened in Namibia and none of that will happen in Namibia.

The SWAPO Party in 2024 is a fortress, united and walking in step behind its presidential candidate. We stand Ndjikiti. All around the country, on a weekly basis, we see many mini rallies, door to door campaigns and mobilization activities. We have handled our differences maturely. The opposition in Namibia is fragmented like the wind of Alaska. There is nothing they can say which we have not addressed. That is why our manifesto speaks to unity in diversity. It speaks to equitable distribution of wealth of Namibia to benefit all Namibians.

Today is Friday and you will see, once again, SWAPO party going to the people and talking about bread and butter issues . A fatal accident occurred about 60 kilometres north of Otjiwarongo on the B1 road when a minibus overturned with multiple occupants in it.

Preliminary information at the scene indicates one person has died and many have serious injuries.

Africa is divided into over 55 countries, with different currencies. This makes it hard for trade between African countries.

If I wanna buy Cocoa from Ivory coast, I'll have to change my money into US dollars (giving US 5-10% of my money), they I will probably have to turn the dollars into euro, losing another 5-10% of my capital to eur0pe, then change my euro into ivorian franc, again losing another 5-10% of my money to the french treasury.

If I started with about South African rand of 1000, by the time I am purchasing cocoa in Ivory coast, my money will be worth only rands 650 to 700, the other rand 300 will be in the hands of US and Europe.

Gaddafi wanted to get rid of this and replace it with Gold DINAR (An African currency) for doing business in Africa without changing the value
