A Wales Covid Inquiry has to be statutory. We are hearing from a @WelshGovernment civil service who have spent the last 4 years defending their actions. Conflict? @Plaid_Cymru need to stand firm on their commitments. I suspect @WelshLabour are still objecting too 🤦‍♀️ We see you!

Da iawn @savechildrenuk 👏 The smoke in Torfaen was horrific. We raised concerns with @torfaencouncil Cllrs on day one! Of course @PublicHealthW said “shut your windows”. The air on our hospital wards in Wales are not cleaned or monitored. This has to change @mabonapgwynfor

My brother is going to a @Cardiff_Rugby 150th anniversary dinner tomorrow. He appeared for Cardiff over 150 times and I think I watched every single game! Kevin Edwards no4 in the 80s. Happy days 🏉

Great to see this being raised ⬇️ Unbelievably, indoor air on Welsh hospital wards (and all public buildings) is neither cleaned or monitored for quality 🤷‍♀️ Wales should lead the way in changing this 💪

The impact of these wildfires has been twofold. The immediate effect on land, property, and nature has been devastating. But this new research into the wider impact of the fire on air quality in Torfaen and the surrounding area is incredibly worrying.
