Arkadelphia is the next stop on the tour. Here's a preview of the 98th football meeting between Arkansas Tech and Henderson State as we return to the place where the Wonder Boys earned their nickname in 1920.

@RealMikeWilbon Thank you, gentlemen. Yours is hands down on the short list of the greatest sports television programs in history. Grateful for all the thoughts and laughs you have provoked over the years.
Zero complaints from this lifelong #Braves fan about the 2026 season. With the pitching injuries and the decline of a couple of key everyday guys, winning the division was a great achievement. Tough decisions are near, but tonight, I am grateful for this group and the good times.
(1) I don't know what to say to a #Braves fan who boos Freddie.
(2) It breaks my heart, but for everyone's sake, it may be time to let Ronnie go.
(3) I'm old enough to remember when there wasn't an obnoxious sound effect on every 2-strike or 3-ball count. Those were good days.
If you love sports and/or sports broadcasting, what a treat it was to listen to @notthefakeSVP and @miketirico visit. Two of the very best to ever do what they do.
Mike Tirico joined Scott Van Pelt on ESPN to talk about calling the Falcons-Saints game 20 years ago for the reopening of the Superdome after Hurricane Katrina.
Postseason baseball is so weird (and in a wonderful way when your team wins). I wonder what kind of odds you could've gotten in April on Ray Kerr making the start and Chris Sale getting the final four outs in a postseason series-clinching victory. #Braves
Well, that was fun. Sale coming in to slam the door was the cherry on top. After all the injuries to the pitching staff...anything else we get this season is a bonus. Go take your best shot at the Dodgers and enjoy the ride, boys. You've earned it. #Braves
There it is. This has been coming a long time. This would drastically alter the landscape of college athletics if the guarantee games go away. A new middle would form. Good D2 programs have to be ready to meet the current FCS programs in that new middle if their budgets shrink.
From ESPN's story on the potential expansion to 24 teams for the College Football Playoff:
"CFP leaders could consider a requirement to eliminate FCS opponents, so Group of 6 teams play only FBS-level teams."
Lots on the table right now, this would send shockwaves everywhere.
If he did, my bad. CJ crossed me up because I thought he told Kruk to not check his mentions. Either way, I hope this stays this much fun for four more innings.
Everybody wants to talk pitching or hitting. The early stages of this game have been a reminder in how much we undervalue fielding and its influence on winning and losing. #Braves
I really like that Ray Kerr allowed himself to acknowledge the crowd and soak in that moment as he exited. Probably the greatest feeling he'll ever have on a baseball field, and he earned it. #Braves
Advice from an old baseball fan: enjoy the regular season, and don't sweat the postseason. This is purely a cash grab funded by networks desperate for live programming. The scheduling and the short series tell us Major League Baseball isn't taking this seriously. Why should we?
The story of @TrueSouthTV wouldn't have been complete without a visit from Rex Nelson, and now that box is checked. Thank you for spotlighting one of our best Arkansans and returning once more to tell stories of our small, but proud state.
