There aren't enough words for how much I love the horror genre...
Which is why I feel so fortunate to be a part of games like "From Devil's Womb"!

Ok, this is just getting ridiculous. Do any of you other lovely voice actors have advice for getting over the sniffles? I have been stuffed up for ages and it's not going away ๐ญ
I want to get back to recording so bad!
BRB gonna write a villain that is just frustrated by everyone empathizing with him, enabling him, telling him that he means well & is just misunderstood. He is just pure evil, dammit, pure evil. ๐คฃ
I ๐ค when I see the released versions of games or shows I auditioned for & it makes me go: "ok yeah I totally see why they booked that role, damn". Actually inspiring.
I auditioned for Funimation over the span of TEN YEARS before I finally got my first roleโฆ be patient with yourself, take classes, find a good mentor if you can, and never stop practicing!
Donโt ever give up!!!
You have the voice you have. Or maybe you have a very dynamic one that you've trained (listen to Kayleigh McKee's demo ๐).
Either way, your natural voice - whether biological or trained to be your natural - is the best voice, hands-down. ๐ค
Love the voice. Use the voice. โค๏ธ
It's been so long since my last post! I've been deep into a personal project, but also lent my voice to some audio dramas and various projects. Sadly I've been ill for a bit & haven't been able to record. Can't wait to get back to it soon!
Hope y'all are well & staying busy!
@DustinWangVO It's completely separate from my VA work, but it brings me joy. It's been tough to try and juggle everything, but some other projects have come to a close so I feel like I finally have some breathing room again.
Can any sound designers tell me how long they spend on one minute of sound design for a very intense action sequence? It took me about six hours or so to dialogue edit, cut and layer BG, add SFX, and add foley to an intense animated fight sequence.
