@b_fan96917@DanWetzel@espn And as I've said before, what's funny is you think that its possible with the ncaa. The ncaa has no moral standing and a complete inability to implement rules due to their own incompetence. And to think the universities will police themselves is laughable when millions are at stake
@b_fan96917@DanWetzel@espn That's fine with me, FUCK Tech. I could care less about them. Not even the team I cheer for. I just find it hilarious all the pearl clutching and moral grandstanding when every college sports program does it, including your little Iowa.
@b_fan96917@DanWetzel@espn Lol. You keep thinking that in regards to the ncaa and college sports. They will always bend the knee to the almighty dollar and those who dont think so obviously haven't been around college sports and the ncaa enough.
@b_fan96917@DanWetzel@espn And the ncaa has proven time and time again they cant do that. And once again as I said before, im laughing at you for actually thinking that integrity exists in the ncaa and college football, not the situation. Money will dictate what happens at ncaa and power4 conferences
@chaben34@DanWetzel@espn This is where I greatly disagree and I am not a Tech or Sorsby fan at all. Things like sexual assault, manslaughter, partner strangulation all much worse than what Sorsby did and also greatly effect the image and integrity of the game.
@chaben34@DanWetzel@espn I agree that there should be some enforcement body that can actually carry out punishments but right now that's not the ncaa. Unfortunately alot of this is due to there inconsistencies and own stupidity over the years. And just a side note, Tech declared him ineligible before ncaa
@b_fan96917@DanWetzel@espn Yes and several of those iowa and Iowa st players had criminal charges related to the gambling. And if you think that what Sorsby did was just him and not college sports wide, you are extremely gullible. Ive seen estimates that as much as 25% of college athletes are gambling
@THEKingBuckeye You do realize that the big 12 os contractually obligated to these games with the contracts thry signed with the major networks that broadcast their games? Do you think ESPN and Fox will just let the big 12 not play games that thry spent hundreds of millions on?
@chaben34@DanWetzel@espn And there are even more examples of schools not dismissing players for even more serious issues than gambling. If you dont want these issues to continue, that starts with fixing the ncaa and the disaster it created long before Sorsby
@francie_berens@TonyNoel78@svmichanco@WAServers@On3@PeteNakos Lol. Could you clutch those pearls any tighter. Im neither a Tech nor Sorsby fan and find your comment hilarious. Unconsciousable? Gambling is where you draw the line? Not sexual assault, physical abuse, strangulation, child molestation?
@TonyNoel78@svmichanco@WAServers@On3@PeteNakos And what do you think the companies that own the big 12 tv rights will say when other teams try to back out of games that the TV companies paid hundreds of millions for? I bet they can say something with that contract
@HighwayVoices@Nateskin14@HitemWreckem@IndianaFootball@NCAA@GoBearcatsFB Then what great sense did you use to say be never hit rock bottom or didn't have a true addiction? The moral grandstanding is my big issue with all this. The pearl clutching is ridiculous. It amazes me that people are more outraged over this than players who have committed crimes
@HighwayVoices@Nateskin14@HitemWreckem@IndianaFootball@NCAA@GoBearcatsFB Who said he was good after 35 days? You and Twitter?Im actually getting my info on Sorsby from 1st hand knowledge, not Twitter and your gut feeling. The moral grandstanding amazes me. The integrity of college football went long ago with the ncaa and its incompetence and corruption
