The Marine Corps didn’t create that edge—it refined it, gave it structure, and turned survival into discipline.

So when we’re direct, reserved, or solitary, it’s not coldness. It’s earned self-protection. We don’t avoid connection—we avoid chaos, noise, and situations where we’re expected to shrink, soften, or explain ourselves. We choose peace, clarity, and real connection over being misunderstood.
