Sony has officially released PS5 Firmware 13.60 (26.05-13.60.00). The official patch notes only mention improved messages and usability on some screens, with no major new features announced.

⚠️ READ CAREFULLY — Should jailbreak users update?

If you're interested in the PS5 homebrew or jailbreak scene, it's generally recommended to stay on the lowest firmware possible.

Updating to 13.60 could mean:
❌ Losing compatibility with current jailbreak methods.
❌ Missing out on future kernel or userland exploits that may target older firmwares.

@MODDED_WARFARE For some reason, the user you leave in the backup (User1) is ideal for loading P2JB because it keeps the Pipe Masters low, 31,32. If another user is created and activated, the saved data from User1 should be transferred to this new since the Pipe Masters will be slightly higher.

If you find a game that's using APR and not running properly, delete it and don't risk corrupting your console and being forced to reset it...

I'm on firmware 11.6 and I was using bdjb flawlessly.

Today I was playing Miles Morales (game dump folder) from an external m2 drive (in an USB m2 enclosure). When I tried to close the game, the PS5 kernel panicked.

I had to factory reset my console, and by doing so I lost my disc drive pairing....

This happened with Spider-Man Miles Morales.
It wasn't on the internal hdd.
The game was running from an external ssd using full game folder dump.

How come there is no autoloader for Japanese Lua games + P2JB..?

P2JB was implemented first with Lua games, then it was ported for Y2JB.

Both have no kernel panic issue anymore.
Lua games should get a working P2JB autoloader too...
