Ty Warren deserves a mention for his input over two seasons. Gutted for JDS - more than enough quality for this level on his day, but injuries are a killer. #GTFC

Jeez, that is a sickener. Great fight back on the night from #GTFC, and it seemed the tide had turned in their favour again at a crucial time.

Salford take their one big chance in extra time, and that's that. Disappointing for sure, but a season to reflect positively on in time.

Second half was a tough watch. Salford were always going to try and frustrate but #GTFC played into their hands.

It’s only half time and Town have travelled well this term, so will still fancy their chances, but we need to see more of what has got them to this position.
