@RulesGorgie Fully understand that, York and our fans rate him highly. Cardiff fans seemed to want him in their side before he came to us. I think if he stays here, he will be getting a lot of attention next season every week.
24 years old with 3 years left on his deal. Was the best centre half in the NL no question about it. Can play right or left of a 2 or 3, as well as either full back, and right wing when he fancies. First name on team sheet so talking £950k + sell on as a minimum #ycfc
@DavidTweets96@MalkyFrench It’s a fair opening offer, but below the number most would regard as an acceptable number to see him leave. He’s been phenomenal for 18months and still young, as well as first name on team sheet. As a player, he’s everything you want in a centre half
@sears11GOAT@hillbilly1874 It’s not just one good season though. He’s been a standout performer for 18 months since we’ve had him. Displays all the traits of a player who can play at the very top. Nothing wrong with having a valuation of a player which is acceptable to change the club, but not a necessity
@Kristofle1983 We all love him at York. He’s absolutely class. Makes the game look easy, and never gets out of second gear. A player who really could play at the very top.
@hillbilly1874 I’d be surprised. Our owner has previously stated he won’t roll over for our key players. If the fee is that low, the incentives will need to be high. I don’t doubt he wouldn’t push the move as it’s European football, but until then, York hold all the cards
@cheapmansvest@DanTakesOnFooty@dan_batemannn I wouldn’t be surprised if it is. Bounce the offers club to club, get the best for all parties involved. All well here mate, hope you guys are good too. Ready for the season to start again though. Getting boring not having an 8 hour round trip to the middle of nowhere to plan.
@cheapmansvest@DanTakesOnFooty@dan_batemannn Previous rumour was Sheffield United for a significantly bigger fee. I don’t think it’ll be a case of done and dusted quickly if he is to go. It could be a long process.
@KeithHurell@21luckyforsome@brocky_5@TheGameCaller Most likely because they weren’t aware of the extent of the injury at the time. Immediately after it seemed like there wasn’t much wrong with him, even the commentators mentioned that. They probably realised when Atkin was at the side it shouldn’t have been a green card.
@21luckyforsome@brocky_5@TheGameCaller He waved to both sides of the pitch for assistance before the asking ref to stop game. He could’ve stayed down in the tackle and then the ref would stop it for safety.
@saints_clips Absolute game changer. I thought we had you at that moment as you were struggling to get out. Think we caught the previous kick near halfway. Seemed a matter of time before the game would be tied, but this was a major sucker punch and a lesson to take chances when they come.
@M_Shaw1 2 big moments where the game swung but at 16-10 the game looked like it could’ve gone either way. We had saints pinned in their half and struggling to get out.
