I was advised by the nurses to submit a formal complaint. They were absolutely amazing at looking after us all, most being called in after their other shifts for overtime as the "ward" I was on wasn't actually a ward just a place to get people out of a&e.

@sullydaysleeper @HSELive Recently spent 5 days on a trolley in a Dublin hospital waiting for a bed after having open abdominal surgery. Nurses and doctors requesting daily I get a bed. 1 nurse for 15 patients on trolleys in an overflow from a&e (mostly surgical). It's broken

I've been on a trolley in #SVUH for 4 days being treated because there are no beds in the hospital. I'm 2 weeks post bowel resection. I've asked every day for a bed but can't get one.
I'm ashamed of every single person who #voted for this #government to continue on.
@donalhassett1 God people have nothing else to do. Also seeing lots of service industry workers with thousands of bottles atwants ines. If the person who paid the 15c doesn't want it back there are many who will. Added bonus people are recycling!
Hugely worrying. Core funding is not enough! The gap between 2021 costs and 2024 is massive and can see it's a struggle for Creches. Many need raise fees 30+% to survive. As a parent with 2 in creche in order to continue working it's a worry.

There are no mother and baby units in Ireland, an absolutely essential facility for women struggling postnatally. Specialist care for post natal issues is needed to prevent something like this from happening again.#MentalHealthServices#PND#HSE

Do all the people who beep on the corner of Merrion square and Holles Street cause someone is a little slow to react to a light realise there are post partum mums and babies just above them? Genuinely curious about this.
@crazyhouseprice Government raise stamp duty and the funds will just pay it. And what will government do with the extra stamp? Squader it! Already getting a discount on bulk buying and making tax free profits on the rental costs. The only way is to ban/stop this from being able to happen.
Who knew that incentivising use of public transport would increase its use 🤗
Enhanced routes and €2 bus fares for youths lead to surge in use of public transport https://t.co/N57LKUeRof
It's a challenge, without subsidies Creche places for two babies in Dublin are at least €30,000 per year (2,500pm) and with basic available Subsidies €23,500 now and from Sep 24 €19,800.

@swiftielaurah This is such a joyful yet vulnerable time. Just hide all the comments that aren't positive, there is no point engaging. You've been through birth, with complications and you're now responsible for a whole other human. The fact that you could get up, get dressed and get out is 🎉

A small minority of people are just not good people, and this is also regardless of sex, race, nationality, skin colour or policitcal agenda.

I dunno about you but if I was concerned about women and children’s safety I’d put a balaclava on and start smashing the city I live in up and setting shit on fire while women and children try to make their way home in the evening.
