@olsonplanner@Raymer56902 Hmm that does make sense. I guess if your rate and mortgage is manageable off your salary then just invest the money and don’t touch it. Only refinance if rate drops over 1% point and you have liquid cash flow to support it?
@olsonplanner@Raymer56902 What are your thoughts on keeping that money in market and just refinancing one this stabilizes (if it stabilizes which I suspect 5.25-6.25 interest for mortgage over the next 12 months)?
Congratulations to all the PGY1 residents starting their first shift today! What an accomplishment. Remember, regardless of how it feels sometimes, you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be doing exactly what you’re supposed to be doing. Best of luck!
We did it!!! It is 5am and the @OSUWexMed hospital is still standing despite giving the residents 24 hours off!! What a team of faux-residents!! So happy to show our appreciation for all that our residents do for us!! #residentappreciationday

To warm up before this-a 🧵below:
@ibdtweets I think one of the biggest issues with IBD is how wide of a spectrum there is in regard to severity. So many patients present/act/respond differently that each patient truly has to have an indicudlized plan in my limited opinion.
Congratulations to all the applicants that matched into their respective fields today! To those having to go through SOAP, keep your head up. Your exceptionally hard work will pay off. Becoming a physician is a tall task with obstacle after obstacle. You will make it! #Match2022
@Glasir_Grove @_mooncube @mahad_minhas@acgme@AAMCtoday I’m not for demeaning anyones salary. If someone is willing to pay someone x amount of money, great! NPs are vital to healthcare. However, you don’t think a psych MD resident could do that job? That’s literally what they do during their residency.
There is something really nice about walking out of your last ICU night shift ever and into an elective in GI. Crazy how much more you enjoy work when it’s in the field you love! (Don’t get me wrong I will miss my critical care crew) I can’t wait start GI fellowship!
@DOResMatch Build relationships and learn from the residents you work with during your clerkship months. Try and get involved with a case report or quality improvement project to check the scholarly activity box. Be yourself and trust that you’re good enough!
Excited to head north to Pittsburgh to pursue a fellowship in gastroenterology at Allegheny General Hospital! Can’t wait to officially join the GI Family! #GITwitter
@TKapetanos Haha I guess my tweets are just overly dramatic like a soap opera but hey that’s how excited I am to join the Allegheny family! Thank you for the welcome!
