Plus, Hurley told me in 2019 that he simply believed the Southland wasn’t a good conference. I don’t know of anything the Southland has done to improve since then.

Hurley said to me in 2019 when they transitioned to the WAC that he preferred the WAC over Southland, but he never expressed animosity toward Southland. Maybe donors?
