Celebrating Innovation, Creativity, and Future-Ready Learning
The Amazon Future Engineer – Hack to the Future 2026, organized by Quest Alliance in partnership with Samagra Shiksha Andhra Pradesh, Learning for Equality Foundation (LFE), and DreamKit at GITAM University, brought together more than 100 students, educators, and education leaders from across Andhra Pradesh.
Students from six districts showcased their ingenuity by developing AI-powered solutions to address local community challenges. Their projects included flood alert systems, water quality monitoring tools, crop protection technologies, and safety-focused innovations designed to create meaningful social impact.
The event highlighted the remarkable potential of government school students to harness AI and emerging technologies to solve real-world problems. It also reinforced the development of essential future-ready skills, including critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, problem-solving, and digital literacy.

The Final Day of the State Level Training Programme & Cooking Competitions for Cook cum Helpers (CCH) under Samagra Shiksha, School Education AP and PM POSHAN concluded with great enthusiasm in Vijayawada. The event showcased creativity, teamwork and nutritious culinary innovations, with participants enthusiastically preparing healthy and delicious recipes. Expert interactions, hands on learning sessions and engaging activities made the finale both inspiring and impactful.

Dr. T. S. Anita, Principal, AP Model School, Baireddypalli, shares how the School Leadership Development Program transformed her approach to understanding student needs and responding with empathy and action. The program helped her recognize the importance of looking beyond academic performance to better understand student behaviours, wellbeing, and the support required for every child to thrive. She shifted from a problem-solving approach to a more reflective and responsive leadership style, she able to strengthening collaboration between teachers, parents, and support systems. Through timely interventions, continuous engagement with families, and guidance to teachers, she created a supportive environment focused on both learning and wellbeing of Children's.
One such experience as example involved a Class VI student facing hearing impairment, emotional insecurity, and irregular attendance. Through coordinated support, counselling, and consistent encouragement from teachers, the student gradually became more confident, expressive, and regular in attending school. This journey led to improved student wellbeing, increased participation, and better learning outcomes, highlighting how effective school leadership can create meaningful change in students’ lives and overall wellbeing of children's.

Mr. Gangajalam, SGT, West Godavari district, shares how the Teach Tool helped strengthen his mathematics teaching through more practical and student-centered approaches. Ideas transformed into action, and stories evolved into powerful learning tools as the Year 3 Gnana Prakash KRP Residential Training Workshop under the FLN – Supporting Andhra’s Learning Transformation (SALT) initiative continued with great enthusiasm in Vijayawada.
On Day 4, KRPs engaged in immersive sessions on storytelling-based pedagogy, activity-driven learning, and child-centric classroom practices aimed at making foundational learning more joyful, meaningful, and engaging for young learners.
Addressing the participants, Dr. M.R. Prasanna Kumar, ASPD-1, Samagra Shiksha, encouraged teachers to become catalysts for change by fostering creativity, innovation, and child-centric approaches in classrooms across Andhra Pradesh.

The Year 3 Gnana Prakash KRP Residential Training Workshop under the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) – Supporting Andhra’s Learning Transformation (SALT) Programme commenced on 21 May in Vijayawada with a shared vision of strengthening foundational learning and empowering teachers across Andhra Pradesh.
