@McFranchisee I spent yesterday walking the floor. It was unreal how many companies names were followed by AI. About 1% actually had something to do with AI
Summary from National Restaurant association conference:
1) everyone is working on dirty soda syrups
2) every vendor booth has AI in their name
3) kitchen robots are coming, but they are still slow and buggy
Itβs wild that this post is spreading so much. These Pizza Hut classics have been back for probably at least 7-10 years. Part of the problem is the bad pizza is still here. Still using frozen dough and low quality ingredients
@McFranchisee has me thinking about other vendors to kick out of the restaurant. Curious since he launders his own towels (always thought this made sense) β¦ do you spray for bugs/pests or wash your own windows? What equipment do you service yourself vs. farming out? Any other common ones to bring in house?
Does anyone have any good data on whether restaurant rewards actually drive higher sales?
I know most restaurants claim visits are higher with rewards members, but I question whether that is correlation or causation.
@jonathanmaze or @McFranchisee ?
Thanks. My issue is that I have seen the former data, but Iβm skeptical.
If the typical rewards customer is like me, I join rewards for places that I already visit a lot (because why not)
If Iβm not a heavy user, I donβt join rewards. I donβt want the extra app, etc for non-frequent use β¦
