The way those minors in Jieyang tortured, mutilated, and killed that protective mother dog and her helpless puppies reveals a deeply disturbing sociopathic lack of empathy.
No child "just plays rough" like that — gouging eyes, setting them on fire, and inflicting prolonged suffering on a mama dog trying to shield her babies points to something profoundly broken. This wasn't a one-off mistake; it was calculated cruelty.
Cases like this expose how urgently China needs real animal cruelty laws with real consequences, not just "specialized education" for minors who commit such horrors. Animals feel pain, fear, and love just like we do. If someone can do this to the innocent and defenseless, what does it say about the kind of person they'll become?
We need to demand better — stronger protections, early intervention, and zero tolerance for this kind of evil. My heart breaks for Mama Gou and her pups. They deserved so much better. 💔

The SAME Tibetan National Flag carried by our martyr in his self-immolation outside the #UnitedNations is now flying high — 1,454 feet atop the Empire State Building spire over Manhattan!
Unbreakable resistance against #China’s Genocide. We demand the #UN take responsibility & decisive action NOW! 🔥✊

On June 28th,four teenagers from Jieyang, Guangdong,China set fire to a stray female dog and her newborn puppies and burned them to death.
Before that, they even covered the female dog in paper soaked in gasoline and they recorded the entire torture process with extreme cruelty.
But even so the local government is still doing everything possible to protect the four abusers.
This is just the tip of the iceberg of animals being abused to death in China.
If you're willing to help them, please transfer this post or any others related to this incident to improve the international impact of it. Your little act of kindness might save their from endless torments in the future🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 #StopAnimalAbuse #EndAnimalCruelty #AnimalRights #JusticeForAnimals #BeTheirVoice
As a journalist, over the last 17 years, I met him, saw him, and heard him in personal friend circles and during various Tibetan campaigns across the USA, including hunger strikes. His name is Lobsang Paldhen, and on social media, he went by Lobga Rangzen. The name Rangzen (རང་བཙན་) means “Independence” in English, and he passionately represented his views and dreams online.
When I first heard the news, I was shaking and couldn’t write anything. A mutual friend called me from the hospital to inform me that he had died. It was hard to accept such a feeling — a feeling of blankness, or not knowing what to do. This was reminiscent of the emotions I experienced from 2009 to 2022 during the self-immolations in Tibet. The news was shocking and sad, particularly because I knew him personally. Like many Tibetans, he was very friendly and kind, always smiling at everyone. He had a warm heart and a lovely personality.
