I went to buy kites. While standing there, something interesting caught my attention.

One shop was selling 20 kites for ₹100. Another shop, right next to it, was selling the same 20 kites for ₹150. Naturally, I assumed the cheaper one would have more customers.

But I was wrong.

The shop selling at ₹150 had a huge crowd.

I got curious and looked closely. The difference was simple that seller was giving the kite ready to fly with the thread already attached.

That small detail changed everything.

Just because he saved people a few minutes of effort, he was able to charge 50% more and people were happy to pay.

Then it hit me.

It’s not about the product.
It’s about the convenience.

History proves this again and again the moment you add service to a product, its price doesn’t just increase it multiplies.

And in today’s world, people don’t pay for things. They pay for ease.

If you make someone’s life easier, you can charge a premium and they’ll thank you for it.
