If the previous flights haven’t operated or are delayed, then there’s a good chance that your flight will also get impacted (unless they change the aircraft)

Hey @SwissEmbassyIND while you did DM and assured that the feedback will be taken positively and shared with VFS who manages the webpage.

Now help with this situation which I am assuming all travelers face

- 2 Travellers are planning to visit Switzerland and before we plan I want to check for available appointment dates
- The screenshot is taken at 5:48 pm on 27.10.2025
- Shows me the available date for 1 or 2 persons is 28.10.2025 and for 3 or 4 persons it's 2.2.2026
- I now need to fill the entire forms with all details typing in. Copy paste is disabled for unknown reasons and you want the traveler to type in street names like "Schaufelbergerstrasse" and "Obergrundstrasse" etc ?
- Post doing all that the calendar view opens up with all available dates which will not be in sync with the dates shown

Why are we making it harder for travelers to just check for available dates for a mere appointment?

Do travelers plan the entire trip with doing all the bookings, etc, and then check for appointment availability?

Why is such a basic thing like showing appointment availability even put behind a logged in section, leave aside the whole form etc?

Just ask yourself these basic questions. Just think as a traveler before approving such basic flows.

Hats off to the @CZinNewDelhi who has got VFS to show the appointment availability without the need to log in.

Digitization is done for the ease of the end user and not to put hurdles in the process.

I am again putting it here. I have designed tons of complicated work flows. This is just a simple one which needs some logical thinking that's all. If you need help I am available. DM me and we can work something out.

I really hope someone at the Emabssy is eager to change the process for everyone's benefit.

@raviprakash_rtv Express security check for those with only hand baggage has only 1 screening machine.If screening flags something in the bag,then the CISF person doing the screening gets up to do a manual check & slows down the screening further. No urgency showed by staff to speed things up

Even the website (post login) doesn't give me option to download.

You can also send it in an email.

This looks just like a "growth hack" to increase app downloads.

Tangail Airborne Assault

On 11 Dec 1971, the Indian Air Force executed the first-ever large-scale airborne operation in the subcontinent, playing a pivotal role in the liberation of Dhaka.

A fleet of 6 An-12s, 20 Packets, and 22 Dakotas paradropped a 800-strong battalion group at Tangail, including equipment like 12 jeeps. This force was among the first Indian troops to enter Dhaka, paving the way for victory.

While heliborne operations accelerated the Eastern approach to Dhaka, the Northern axis required swift action. The prevailing air superiority of the IAF, over East Pakistan, enabled this daring airborne operation. An-12s & Packets flew from Dum Dum with heavy platform loads, while Dakotas from Kalaikunda brought in troops and equipment. Gnat & MiG-21 fighters provided air defense cover for the operation.

The operation itself was meticulously planned. A Pathfinder force, to mark the DZ, preceded the main drop, while a dummy drop 16 km away misled enemy forces. The drop was carried out in broad daylight from 1600 to 1630 h.

The troops targeted the Poongli bridge on the Jamalpur-Tangail road, a critical objective to isolate Dhaka from the north. This monumental operation showcased Joint planning by military leadership and seamless coordination and camaraderie between the services.

A testament to the prowess and strategic brilliance of the Indian Armed Forces.
