Setting up tents by #ARCSAfghanistan volunteers for thousands of families is hard work. But then, nothing compares to the heartbreak of #KunarEQ survivors moving in after losing loved ones, homes, livelihoods. This is more than shelter. It’s survival, grief & healing.
In Mazar valley, Kunar province, villages lie in ruins.
Families, especially women & children, struggle in tents with limited food, drinking water & healthcare.
Alongside @ARCSAfghanistan, the @ICRC is providing assistance to the most vulnerable.
But more support is needed.
After #Kunar EQ, the pain & loss survivors endure are unimaginable. Listening to their stories is crucial—they’ve lost loved ones, sometimes entire families.
