I met with representatives from @oceanindustries during their 2026 annual meeting fly-in to discuss offshore energy and federal policies impacting domestic production.

I’ve long supported an all-of-the-above energy strategy that includes both traditional and renewable sources to meet our nation’s needs. Expanding responsible energy development across sectors helps lower costs for consumers, strengthens energy independence, and supports long-term economic stability.

We also discussed the importance of predictable offshore lease sales, permitting reform, and policies that provide certainty for investment in the Gulf Coast. Offshore energy continues to support job creation and infrastructure development across South Texas, and I’ll keep working to ensure our region remains competitive.
