@cpasmoimec@Ninetales2776 I did, these are not fakes. They were printed by the Pokemon Company (post WoTC era), supposed to be destroyed but were stolen from the factory before they were able too. Therefore there are 1000’s more of these English Gold Stars out in the wild than were ever intended.
@beeradtv@Ninetales2776 If I recall, these were meant to all be destroyed at the factory but were instead stolen. So plenty of people were still pulling the Legendary Dog Stars from packs, these were all extras that were never meant to see the light of day… but they did. Nothing needed to be reprinted.
@cpasmoimec@Ninetales2776 Not fake, these are 100% real, and undistinguishable from Gold Stars pulled from packs. This was well known in the collector community back in the day, most just stayed away and were wary of buying English Gold Stars. This collection was eventually sold to someone in the US later
@Ninetales2776 Japanese Gold Stars will always remain undefeated. Feel bad for Gold Star collectors because these still haven’t all been dumped on the market yet. A lot of collectors switched to Japanese around 2008/9 when these videos first surfaced.
