Kenyans elect fools and thieves without a second thought.
But when it comes to Edwin Sifuna, all of a sudden we want experience; we want economic policy, bla bla bla....
What experience did Uhuru have?
What use was Ruto's experience as DP for 10 years; how has it benefited us?
It’s actually the other way round Mr. President. There is a reason the right to life and the fundamental freedoms come first in the Bill of Rights. More than anything else we want to live in a free and democratic country because in the dark of the grave where you put Rex Maasai and Albert Ojwang, you can’t see shiny things.
The real tragedy of living in a third-world country is that you can do everything right and still struggle because the environment is designed to make ordinary things unnecessarily difficult.
I was having tea in one restaurant along Ngong Road recently, and a kasongo person walked in. He works in one of the lucrative parastatals!
He narrated to me that after Sifuna had the Kitengela rally, which I guess was the second one after Busia. Kasongo asked his people, "Na huyu Sifuna tutamfanyaje?" They all answered in a chorus, huyo ni bure. One of them, who is an ODM leader, told him, "Your Excellency yule ni moto ya karatasi, huyu hatafika April before asaulike!"
The main argument in that meeting was that Sifuna never had money to sustain more than 3 rallies in the country from the Kitengela one! 35 weeks later, Sifuna has gone to more than 20 counties campaigning and getting massive reception! He doesn't look like someone who is stopping any time soon.
Now you understand why Kasongo is nearly running mad about the issue of Sifuna. He was never prepared for it, and he never suspected that it would become what it has turned out to be.
The guy revealed to me that in all the meetings kasongo and his people sit in, they must discuss Sifuna. The reason why he is always insulting him in every rally he appears in! That kasongo almost goes nuts when he imagines the kind of disruption that Sifuna has done to his political plans for 2027 that were already complete!
The plans were to;
● Ignore Central, Kenya, completely because they'd lived to reality by November last year that Rigathi Gachagua had already disrupted everything.
● Have Musalia Mudavadi or Oparanya, any that the numbers would be favoring as the Deputy President, retain Wetangula as the Speaker of the National Assembly, and be assured of the Western vote.
● Take the Prime Cabinet Secretary to the coast and give it to Joho as he worked to retain all the Raila allied politicians from the coast to be assured of the coastal vote.
● He had plans to use incentives of development promises and post election appointment promises for him to be assured of the Luo vote.
● For Gusiiland, they never had many plans because of Dr. Matiang'i's dorminacy, and they believe that he will be on the ballot. He promised his allied MPs in Gusiiland a lot of money to campaign for UDA, and told them that he only wanted to achieve 25% from any of the two counties or both and any of them who'd lose elections would be appointed in his government as a first priority.
● In North Eastern, he would win it by giving them incentives, too. Businesses and appointments. He also assured them that the Somali would easily get IDs without hiccups, something that is already happening.
These are the few things that I can remember. He equally told me that he had a bigger challenge that has eaten his head since about Nairobi because of Babu Owino's candidature.
That kasongo doesn't want to lose Nairobi in whichever ways, but by last year, he was almost accepting that if Babu vies, then he'd definitely win against Sakaja.
Sasa msishangae kwa nini kasongo amekua wazimu. Ni hesabu zimearibika kabisa!
I don't know if we really understand the magnitude of the fight Infront of us. The judiciary is so rotten. The county governments are stealing. The Parliament is so dead. Police serve politicians. The church is compromised. Our parents fear a lot and are easy to lie to.
''Mheshimiwa Ruto, hata ukijam, ukikasirika, ukinitusi na kuniita majina lazima utatuambia ni slum gani umefunga Kenya?'' Edwin Sifuna fires back at William Ruto
Apparently,Murang'a Healthcare system didn't cost taxpayers anything and it's working while SHA which cost us 104B isn't working!
Is there any excuse as to why we shouldn't hang these frauds at Uhuru Park?
Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru and MP Wanjiku Muhia have exposed logging activities taking place in the Aberdare Forest, which they say are being conducted by the Kenyan Government.
The two have successfully obtained a court injunction halting all logging activities in the Aberdare Forest.
Kasongo fears seeing any County project succeeding while his national projects fail...
He has shut down Murang'a Governor Kang'atas Afya Ke which was free of charge and forced them to join Taifa Care(SHA) and be paying H.E. Dr. Irungu Kang’ata today issued a public statement on the shutdown, noting that the decision was contrary to an earlier agreement on integrating https://t.co/50nvcgDtGM with the national health system.
Also present were Deputy Governor H.E. Stephen Munania, CECM for Health Dr. Fredrick Mbugua, and Chief Officer for Health Eliud Maina.
Wait until Kenyans learn that the FREE system Muranga County uses, is actually borrowed from the Ministry of Health and that means it can be used for free the whole country. But WSR & Aden can't use it. They want the one where there commission fees. Wako mboka
Sijawahi ona Sifuna akiwa mlevi chakari ama akikosa Senate sittings sababu alikuwa sherehe. Wala hata kuskia wakisema ananuka pombe Senate. But I've seen someone say watu wapigwe risasi and I saw Boniface Kariuki a mask seller getting shot infront of cameras.
Very easy choice.
I really don't get Tutam supporters. You can feel the pinch in the economy, even if you are benefitting from the government. You can definitely tell you spend more than you used to. Still, with all that, you believe this is the government that should continue? #Wantam#Jiangalie
Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya says President William Ruto is overly obsessed with launching projects, including those initiated and funded by county governments, as he desperately seeks political credit ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Natembeya maintains that voters know which government initiated and funded each project, regardless of who presides over its launch, adding that he has left Ruto to commission the projects as much as he wishes.
