Dear Friends,
I am very happy with todayâs proceedings in our UGC case.
Grateful to SC for granting us detailed hearing.
Today Bench was sitting till 1 PM, so only 2 senior counsels argued.
Me & many other Counsels will argue on 18 August.
Students will get Justice for sure.
Academic interest of few students canât outweigh right to health & life of lakhs of students.
MHA/UGC have overlooked alarming COVID-19 crisis, poor health infrastructure & deadly flood.
Their decision to conduct final exam, is illegal & unconstitutional.
SC will set it aside.
@PMOIndia@DrRPNishank publish our results in account of our previous semester.
@narendramodi youth is the backbone of a country.
@HRDMinistry students are not puppet.
@AmitShah we can't afford covid-19 treatment expenses in in Public Hospital.@ugc_india wake up
#NoMoreWaitUGC
UGC has just now filed its Affidavit in our SC Petition.
MHA has not yet filed its Response.
During last hearing, I had pointed out that UGC Guidelines of 6 July & MHA Unlock-3 Guidelines are contrary to each other.
But both UGC & MHA have not responded to this point till now!
Final year exams are getting delayed again and again
And students dont even know if exams would be held or not.
Students cannot wait more for degree.
Exam are not possible now UGC should provide degree based on Students past performance..
#NoMoreWaitUGC
Counsel for UGC informs the court that the guidelines are advisory in nature and University has to chart out its own rules.
