Our Legislative Director @SamsonSheetz just took the stage at the @AFPhq all staff retreat to be recognized for 10+ years with the organization. 💪
Help us congratulate Sam on a decade of service to the cause of freedom and liberty in the Great State of Texas. 🗽
After 5 amazing years with @TexasAFP and 6 working alongside @gcollinstx, this chapter is coming to a close.
I’m excited to announce that I’ve accepted a new role as Communications Director for my friend @SenBryanHughes - a principled leader and respected statesman. #txlege
🚀🚀My husband Dwight worked on the Artemis II rocket… everything in the color orange is what he helped create!! This rocket is AMERICAN MADE 🇺🇸 and will put people ON THE MOON in < 2 years.
Seeing Dwight tell our son what he worked on to make America GREAT and send people back to the moon is one of the proudest moments of my life!
I love you honey and we are ALL proud of you and what you’ve done for our country!
Or maybe - just maybe - you start by spending taxpayer dollars *only* on essential services.
Government isn’t supposed to be the citizen’s nanny. Provide infrastructure, emergency services, etc. Rental assistance is not a core function. Parks are a bonus if you have the extra funds.
Time to trim the fat!
I’ve been trying to be as reconciliatory as possible, but it’s hard when the people who call us all Nazi’s pretend they had nothing to do with any of this.
So I just read Cenk’s video titles about Charlie and Trump back to him.
It went as well as you would expect.
In Ways and Means committee, a county judge accused us of passing tax relief legislation just so we could brag on campaign mailers. After hours of testimony from city and county officials fighting against SB10, I reminded him what this is really about: protecting taxpayers.
SB10 simply lowers the threshold at which local governments must ask voters before raising taxes. That’s not political gamesmanship—that’s accountability. Texans deserve a voice in how much government takes from their wallets. #HHfor55
We need to protect SA taxpayers and homeowners, not $3.7B worth @spurs. Can’t y’all afford it? Why raise our taxes for something you can afford? #txlege $489 Million cost according to @GinaOrtizJones
🚨 The #FreedomUnleashed Tour is back in San Antonio!
Today, our activists are taking the fight to City Hall - demanding lower property taxes and the responsible use of tax dollars.
Texans deserve accountability and real relief. This is the first step.

People from the UK are shocked at how nice the United States is and are realizing how bad their own country has become.
Many are taking to social media, saying they’ve been lied to about the U.S. and its people.
“It is absolutely crazy how the media will really have you believing that a place is completely different from the reality.”
“While I was growing up, the media coverage of the US was always bad, saying that the people are rude, that it's not a nice place to go, that it's dangerous…”
“All of that stuff could not be further from the truth.”
Hey #txlege-
This. Right here.
Austin eyes major property tax increase to close growing budget gap.
We must stop them from raising property taxes & stop spending increases.

Texas delivered major property tax cuts.
But more must be done to deliver even more relief for hardworking Texans.
This special session, lawmakers must stop cities and counties from raising property taxes & stop their spending increases.

🧵 THREAD: When I said I was fiscally conservative, I meant it.
Here’s what else I saw at City Hall that deserves serious investigation #atxcouncil#txlege 1/ :
Exciting event I helped with discussing property tax reform in #txlege and how we need to 1) empower taxpayers and 2) get local spending under control!
📰 The Longview - News Journal: Organization advocates for property tax relief during Longview panel discussion – here’s what to know.
"State government doesn’t charge property taxes; that duty falls to city councils, county commissioners courts and school boards that vote each year to set tax rates"

Austin Energy should be broken up.
As a monopoly, they treat customers as a burden. All while they work from home.
AE knows customers have no choice. They aggressively push infrastructure costs and take weeks to install a meters.
Nothing free market competition can’t fix.
