Congress just approved a record 21% increase in its allowance to pay its staffers. 21% is likely much closer to the actual #inflation rate than the 7.9% #CPI. Of course, Congress and the #Fed cause inflation, and these raises for staffers will just add to the pain for taxpayers!

@jameslavish Let's assume you have 1.6b to put straight into that pile of yellow...only 1 transaction fee... to assume true ownership of it... You would need a million dollar safe(atleast) and many armed guards to move it. that is a very slow and expensive/storage/transaction fee.
