My primary focus for Gatanga Constituency is to ensure that all our roads are in top condition, as they are critical in driving our local economy. Smooth and reliable road connectivity is the backbone of our community's progress.

To this end, Yesterday, I conducted an inspection of several key roads across the constituency. I took the opportunity to provide direct instructions to contractors on necessary improvements to ensure that the quality of work meets our high standards.

Head Paul to Kwa Ngewa Road: After reviewing the current state, I have directed the contractor to completely redo this road. Specific instructions include upgrading the quality of murram used, enhancing the drainage system, and widening the road to accommodate increased traffic and improve safety.

Gituamba - Kihumbuini - Ngoei-ini Road: I am pleased to report that pothole filling and shoulder repairs are progressing well. The repairs are essential for maintaining a smooth and safe driving experience.

Gitiri Primary School Renovations: The renovation work at Gitiri Primary School is nearly complete, and I am satisfied with the quality of the work. The improvements will provide a better learning environment for our children.

Wanyaga - Kimandi Bridge: Construction of the Wanyaga - Kimandi Bridge is moving along smoothly. This bridge is a crucial link for the community, and I am committed to ensuring its timely and successful completion.

Gituamba - Kihumbu-ini - Paul Mbiyu Road: This road has been fully graded and is in excellent condition.

Kigio - Gatunyu Line Road: This road has been completed to a high standard. It now meets all necessary specifications and is ready for regular use by the public.

Mithanduku-ini Road: The work on this road has also been completed successfully, ensuring safe and reliable access for all road users.

I remain dedicated to overseeing these projects until all our roads are in prime condition.
