At least we learned that a lot of people hate journalism and sports media has been so poisoned that people don’t even understand what journalism is anymore. Because they were really mad at a journalist for looking into the shady dealings of a billionaire.
@David_Ornstein@TheAthleticFC floor raiser, great get. All promoted clubs should sign these types
Staying up after promotion formula:
Experience, leadership, physicality in the spine of the team (ideal example is Xhaka, but Callum Wilson-types will do) incl. GK
Flanks bring the pace and athleticism
@SebC__ The tricky thing is it’s so hard to find his level developmentally in the US. They don’t have the academy levels to really test him and physically the senior MLS could potentially kill him if they just gave him too many minutes too early. MLS is up there physically with anyone

Oddly mixed feelings after that. We won the game, and advanced in the title race ... but we didn't do it in a way that pleased Fabian Hürzeler. I keep asking myself if it was worth it.
Mikel Arteta has called for Arsenal fans to “love me after I draw and I lose” and not just when the side is winning.
The Premier League leaders have drawn successive Premier League matches against Brentford and Wolves, and have won just two of their last seven league games.

Identity is more important than any formation. The issue with Amorim is that he’s blended “identity” with “formation,” which turns it into a very human issue. It’s like a carpenter loving hammers more than building things, or a musician loving guitars more than making music.
