* A S$5000 child development initial grant.
* S$5000 dollar-for-dollar xtra matching grant
THAT’S NOT ALL !!!
* Every Singaporean child will continue to get annual credits of S$2000 from age 1-16.
* At 17, every Singaporean child will get an additional S$10,000 deposited into their post-secondary school education account.
In total, every child will receive nearly S$70,000 ($55,000) as they grow up. Families with more children will receive more support.
The Singaporean government is giving nearly ₦77 million in total direct financial support to every Singaporean child from birth to age 17.
NOTE: Singapore is not an oil-producing country. It has zero domestic crude oil reserves & does not extract petroleum from the ground.
Singapore imports its oil 100%.
Thanks to Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore is one of the four Asian Tigers. It shares this title with Hong Kong, South Korea, & Taiwan.
Prime Minister Lawrence Wong delivered this powerful speech yesterday to mark Singapore's National Day Rally 2026. He announced major updates on public housing, family support, & digital safeguards for Singaporean youths.
This is how a leader addresses his people. As a Nigerian, can you see what leadership looks like? WHAT DOES NIGERIA DO FOR YOU?
Pause for a second & imagine that Peter Obi is the one embarrassing Nigerians at home & abroad in the way Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is embarrassing the most populous Black nation on Earth. Do you think that BAT, the APC, & Lagos media would have spared PO?
This is Emmanuella Ngaha and Jason Ngaha this morning in Enugu as our 2-week bootcamp commences.
I just learned that their mom had a brain tumor while their dad has both kidney failure.
This is too much for these children to bear, and they have been out of school since December.
We will ensure that they return to school this September and fulfill their dreams.
They are both so brilliant, and the world will celebrate their greatness.
The venue is set for another intensive 2-week bootcamp in Enugu. It’s free for the selected 100 students. Majority of the participating students were top Olympiad in our last edition.
They will learn how to build prototype technology that helps optimize energy consumption in homes (hardware and software). It should save homes billions of Naira in electricity bills.
They will also develop prototype technology that eliminates election fraud at polling units (hardware and software).
It’s a partnership with NITDA, @chilo_aco , and @enugusmeagency .
The future is looking exciting.
Pfizer attempted to hide the side effects of their covid vaccines for 75 years; a vaccine filled with SV40, which is used to make mice develop tumors. Same Pfizer with a dark history in Nigeria.
But vaccine marketer Aproko Doctor, who is not a Pfizer executive, or of any of the vaccines, neither is he on the team that developed any vaccine, has quickly set ring light to tell you vaccines are good.
One will think he learnt something from his embarrassing GMO defence.
This was her first time seeing and using a multimeter.
Today, it is a multimeter in her hands. But who knows what this first encounter could awaken in her?
A new interest. A new confidence. Perhaps even the beginning of a future she had never imagined.
This is why we believe children should not only be told what is possible. Put the tools in their hands. Give them the opportunity to explore, experience and discover what they are capable of.
Sometimes, that is where a future begins.
My cousins were about my age or younger.
So, one day I addressed him as "Friday", and hell was let loose. He was asking, "You dey open mouth dey call me, 'Friday'. Me and you na mate?"

When I used to come to Lagos for holidays, my brother and one of my uncles had a technician who was so skilled at his craft. Whenever he came to the shop to pick up videos and TVs for fixing, my cousins would address him by his first name— Friday. He gladly answered.
