I am truly lost for words. Until yesterday, I never thought there would be something that would frighten me of going back to Liverpool after the break. Team mates come and go but not like this. It’s going to be extremely difficult to accept that Diogo won’t be there when we go back. My thoughts are with his wife, his children, and of course his parents who suddenly lost their children. Those close to Diogo and his brother Andre need all the support they can get. They will never be forgotten.

Getachew’s Two Part Fana interview- Orwellian Finger Pointing

Why did @reda_getachew choose to implicate @MikeHammerUSA with lack of impartiality in his involvement in the COHA which i believe is against the principle of his diplomatic professional conduct?

I am not sure what purpose it serves for Getachew to mention the name of Ambassador Mike Hammer as a partisan mediator and one who showed differential loyalty towards him and Tsadkan when he was supposed to be neutral?

I hope the good Ambassador will come out and explain to the public whether what Getachew is alluding is actually true? I would have hard time to believe it unless I’m missing something.

I suspect that Getachew, as usual, is bragging about his “friends like relationship” with Mike Hammer but unintentionally accusing him of non-diplomatic conduct including colluding with Getachew Reda against the TPLF chairman. Mike Hammer needs to respond to this allegation!

Truly, hearing both Getachew’s recent Fana broadcasting interviews and his actions in the last few months, and surveying the social media response, he has fallen from grace in the eyes of many Tigrayans. Even those who supported him till recently are showing #BuyersRemorse

Personally, I’m not only disappointed but also disgusted by his finger pointing on his former comrades, and his unhinged mischaracterization of Tigray SGBV data for his political game. The 76% apportionment of Rape to #Eritrean forces against existing published evidence by @NewlinesInst @hrw @amnesty @UN and some of our research work is a very serious effort to undermine ongoing efforts for justice.
