We are taxed to death. The money you elect to not steal from us is so devalued that we can’t afford groceries. Of course unemployment is low, people have to work multiple jobs to keep food on the table. Take a seat.
Let’s take a look at our economic growth:
12 million new jobs.
Unemployment at a 53-year low.
Inflation falling for 7 straight months.
It’s no accident. We’re getting it done folks.
Happy Birthday, Texas! 187 years ago today, on March 2nd, 1836, 59 men signed the Texas Declaration of Independence, officially breaking from Mexico and creating the Republic of Texas. We've been through a lot since then --- had our share of bad characters and tough times --- but the spirit of those folks who took such a leap of faith lives on.

On this 40th anniversary of #MLKDay as a federal holiday, the #FBI honors one of the most prominent leaders of the Civil Rights movement and reaffirms its commitment to Dr. King’s legacy of fairness and equal justice for all.

I often think of the question Dr. King asked us all those years ago: “where do we go from here?”
My message today is that we go forward when we go together.
When I ran for president, the economy was flat on its back. But we got to work, putting in place a new strategy that would grow the economy from the bottom up and middle out.
Two years in, more Americans are working than ever before. Our plan is delivering.
When I was a kid, everyone told me that when I grew up and started seeing taxes being taken out of my check, I would get more conservative but the opposite has happened because I look at my paycheck and I’m like “I pay this much in taxes just for people to be unhoused and unfed?“
