Run clubs are not always just about running anymore.
Sometimes it’s community.
Sometimes it’s networking.
Sometimes it’s dating.
Sometimes it’s coffee, outfits, photos, and being seen.
And honestly, that’s not automatically bad.
People need people.
But solo running still gives you something a crowd can’t.
No pace pressure.
No small talk.
No performing.
Just your breath, your thoughts, your legs, and whatever truth catches up to you after mile two.
day 100
the challenge is done
I lost my ultra running virginity
100 days, 1000 kms done
I turn 23 today, today I ran my first ultramarathon - 50k, it was harder than I thought, it humbled me and gave me confidence. backyard style, no music, took longer than I expected.
Slow jog + sprinting as well as walking in between. I’m not ashamed of it because my legs were still moving and that’s what matters. Had to get this done before 11pm today. Word. 🤝🏾
Good night. 😴
