💻 Strengthening survivor-centred responses to digital violence — from strategy to action.
#UNDPinPakistan and @mohrpakistan convened a virtual consultation with @UNDPSPC and the Women's Human Rights Institute of Korea on survivor-centred responses to technology-facilitated gender-based violence (#TFGBV). Drawing on the Republic of Korea's digital safety model, the exchange offered practical lessons for Pakistan's framework — from referral pathways and survivor support to institutional coordination. The consultation was made possible through USPC's SDG Partnership, with support from the @MOFAkr_eng. 🇰🇷
As Pakistan moves from strategy to implementation, UNDP remains committed to digital spaces that are safer and more inclusive for every woman and girl. 🤝

From coastlines to degraded land, Pakistani women are engineering solutions to the climate crisis — quietly, consistently, and effectively.
This year’s awardees, Dr. Zillay Marium and Ms. Songul Jamal, show that the solutions to Pakistan’s greatest environmental challenges are already being built — by women, on the ground, right now.
Senator @SherryRehman's message was clear: women’s agency must be central to #ClimateAction, and lasting resilience depends on collaboration across communities, institutions and partners.
The #GenderClimateAwards2026, supported by #UNDPinPakistan and partners, exists to make sure that work doesn’t stay quiet. 🌍
The growing success of the Gender & Climate Awards reflects the leadership of Pakistani women in tackling climate challenges. Delighted to celebrate 4th edition with @cscccpak and our partners @UNDP_Pakistan, @AFD_en@unwomen_pak 👏Congratulations to all applicants and winners!
Women aren't waiting to be included in #ClimateAction. They're already leading it. 🌏
At the #GenderClimateAwards2026, #UNDPinPakistan Resident Representative Dr. @SamuelRizk honoured Ms. Songul Jamal and Dr. Zillay Marium — whose work on coral reef restoration, coastal protection, and soil regeneration is building climate resilience from the ground up. 🪸♻️
UNDP is proud to support a platform that amplifies the voices driving real change. 🤝
At the plenary session of the @UNDP Annual Meeting on #RuleOfLaw and #HumanRights, #UNDPinPakistan RR Dr. @SamuelRizk joined @UNDPAfrica Deputy Regional Director @DeAissata, Assistant Secretary General for Human Rights @Cfuentesjulio, Musab Al-Abed from the Libyan House of Representatives, Executive Secretary of @HumanRightsMW, and Prof Juan E. Méndez to discuss how human rights and development are mutually reinforcing pillars of sustainable peace and resilience.
Sharing lessons from Pakistan, he noted that, "Human rights informed approaches help move responses from short-term containment to long-term prevention. When institutions protect rights, respond to grievances and provide remedies, they build legitimacy and reduce drivers of instability."
