Not sure if it's still that way, but that system drives away people with other options.

@McDonalds There was also a time I asked for extra pickles. The super helpful crew members put them on the top bun instead of under it so that I could easily see them.

@McDonalds I remember one time ordering two pies at the drive through, then got home to discover they weren't in the bag. Those super helpful crew members must have been looking out for my health. I certainly didn't need to follow a burger with those extra calories.
