Muraho!
As you know, October 10th is #WorldMentalHealthDay. As we continue to observe & reflect on this year theme "Mental Health Care for ALL: Let's Make it a Reality", we are launching #NanjyeNsana Campaign to discuss #MentalHealthMatters & create a safe space for one another.

The #NanjyeNsana campaign continues and today we had a conversation with Maxime Bayingana. An enthusiastic young architect, born & raised in Rwanda.
Here is what Maxime shared with us when we asked him what he thinks of #MentalHealthMatters.

~ As a collective, I would suggest we all advertise and learn more about #MentalHealthMatters, understand that for a better future we need to be open-minded, learn and do more of what really benefits us. No judgments and more loving of ourselves."
#NanjyeNsana#HealingTogether
My suggestion when it comes to making Mental Health Care a Reality for All is to make it affordable, easily accessible and remove the stigma attached to mental health across our society.
Thank you Barbara for sharing your perspective with us. ๐๐ฝโจ

Mental health is plain and simple. Health of the mind. Well being of the mind. Peace of mind.
I understood the importance of mental health in our daily lives when I did a course in Psychology & realised that we all needed to pay attention to our mental wellbeing.

I realized that mental health is a priority in our lives, when I went through severe mental health issues a couple years ago. I took me more than a year to be able to get back on my feet.
