I’ve grown from Bulldog to Taxpayer. Proudly representing the City of Gridley. @buttecollege/@ChicoState/@pacificmcgeorge Alum #ButteCountyStrong#RuralCAStrong
In Butte County, our public servants are some of the most devoted & selfless. Amidst all the info sharing, remember to extend enormous Thank Yous and gratitude to all the women and men who are helping our communities during this once again, unprecedented time in the North State./
A powerful photo for us who live in #ButteCounty. Over the last 7 years of extreme wildfires and infrastructure failure have left a mark on the North State. We have grown accustomed to seeing and hearing from the familiar faces of the….1/3

Residents have an immense confidence during emergencies and amidst the chaos knowing we are taken care. 2/3
Our Lodi Hydrogen Project is part of this application & we couldn’t be prouder. Thank you to the Governor, ARCHES, & our US Senators and Congressional members for making the economic & environmental benefits of the IIJA a reality in California. (2 of 2) #H2forCA@ARCHES_H2
Exciting news! President Biden has announced that CA has been awarded a hydrogen hub with $1.2 billion in funding to help show the country & the world that carbon emission reductions across our economy are possible through the integration of this valuable resource. (1 of 2)
Today I added my voice in solidarity with former and current #CALeg staffers in support for #AB1. As a former #CALeg staffer for nearly 4 years, it is a longtime coming for worker unionization in the 4th biggest economy in the world to apply 2 the people under the Sacramento dome
Action alert: #AB1 will be heard this morning in the Senate Labor Committee at 10am. Please call in & add your voice to give #caleg staff the choice to join a union.

This evening, I put forth a proclamation for the Gridley City Council to recognize June as Pride Month. It passed on a vote of 3-2. Gridley welcomes inclusion & fair treatment of the LGBTQIA+ community to live openly, equally, & without fear in our City. #butteco#PrideMonth2023
State Farm is stopping the sale of new home-insurance policies in California effective Saturday, because of wildfire risk and rapid inflation in construction costs https://t.co/Ob63c2X0og
May is #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth — a great time to check in on yourself & loved ones. If you or someone in your life needs help, confidential support & treatment options are available.

.#ClimateChange models show precipitation patterns are changing, creating more runoff & river flows in winter. Infrastructure built for seasonal patterns of the past cannot handle the weather whiplash & winter flows of today.
@ATT@Verizon@TMobile and other corporations: don’t become a PG&E in an area that has a bad taste on utility companies for failing to provide a basic service. Maintain your cell towers, provide ample service, and have an appropriate backup plan to handle such situations. 4/4
Completely unacceptable that the City of Gridley has experienced TWO City-wide cell, internet and landline outages within 13 months. The first happening on Nov 13, 2021 and now again in December 9, 2022. The interruption this has on our community is unacceptable. 1/4
When ISPs and corporations fail to meet those needs without advance notice year after year, the interruption to basic services at our schools, city government, hospitals, and residents is paramount. 3/4
And the Gridley tree is lit! Thank you @OrchardHospital for the invaluable and necessary healthcare services you provide to Gridley and surrounding towns and for hosting our tree lighting year after year. Gridley High School choir was phenomenal as always!
