@shadetreeisback@AkkadSecretary In my state atleast the price is set by an elected comission that for some reason is partisan. The singular power company convinced them to raise rates because we built a 60bil dollar nuclear plant but then they got voted out. It seems like you could win an election off that.
@shadetreeisback@AkkadSecretary Crazy. Aint the prices controlled by the state though can't the government just pass a very popular law to lower it? I would think Parliament has immense power and it would be very popular.
@sultanofwatts@BenVolin I feel hockey doesn't have that same problem. Soccer is still a bore to watch compared to hockey. I only watch it because I am patriotic.
@sultanofwatts@BenVolin It would prevent that type of deliberation about whether it is a goal or not. You were the one responding to the guy so its on you dawg.
@sultanofwatts@BenVolin You could adjust it to be more similar than hockey. I completely understand why they have it but it just makes the game so much less satisfying. You never specified whether it was the ball or the player throwing, hence the confusion.
@sultanofwatts@BenVolin You can't throw it when you're in front of it but it can be thrown beyond it. Sorry your English is vague. If they didnt have that rule it would just become a game of glorified keep away and ruin the play by olay strategic nature of the game.
@AkkadSecretary Was started by a homo dude who went to a chain cafeteria for lunch and dinner every day for close to 20 years. They were shuttin it down and he opened up his own cafeteria and hired every single employee that was laid off. Crazy youre goin from Rhodesia to my neck of the woods.
@GRMead3 Its pretty much tribal warfare. All of our sports feel like watching WW1 through Vietnam. Watching soccer feels like watching those tribes in Papua New Guinea fight, bouncing back and forth in a game of chicken where nothing really happens.
@Spencer_Gray@VitaliyIndie@GaryMarcus That was using pretty much brute force to find all the potential solutions. It has been mathematically proven it can't recursively learn, but can if humans advise it.
