Yep, in the end I cancelled the preorder. Just can't justify the price for the quality, much as I am a fan of the series. I'll be getting the deluxe version instead.

[Sanctus @Sanctus_90]

After seeing those pictures of the FF7 Revelation collector's edition figure...I'm thinking I'm going to cancel my preorder. That figure quality is not worth the asking price. Could be better just going after the deluxe edition if I can still get that.

@videogamedeals Tough choice, but I think I'd pick Link to the Past for my favorite.

Wow, Nintendo releasing one of my favorite Zelda games ever on my birthday? Talk about a gift!

Adventure through Hyrule and become the Hero of Time when The Legend of #Zelda: Ocarina of Time releases Nov 5 on Nintendo Switch 2. #NintendoDirect

[Sanctus @Sanctus_90]

I didn't see the FF7 trailer today but I prefer to see nothing else, I'm going to be playing it anyways.

Collector edition is preordered, though that price tag is steep...

Also probably the last physical game I'm getting for my PS5, and even then it's not all on discs.

[Sanctus @Sanctus_90]

This could be a good move. Especially for their cross platform strategy. But I still want official confirmation that next gen offers physical games.

Do that and I'm in on the Xbox platform fully again. I want to see Xbox succeed and do it still preserving physical media.

[ASHA @asha_shar]

Your physical game library is more than a collection of discs. It holds years of memories and stories worth preserving. Starting next week, XBOX Insiders can unlock a digital entitlement for supported physical games. We’ll start with thousands of titles and add more as we can.

[Sanctus @Sanctus_90]

Nice that I've been able to make progress on finishing up more games on my backlog. Finished DQ7R Reimagined a while back and today I finally finished DK Bananza (after dropping it a long time ago).

Most of my list is done. I told a friend I'd try the Trails remake next.

[Sanctus @Sanctus_90]

Never had a play like that happen before but to be honest it was one of my first times back on the character in several seasons, and only because they're extremely good right now.

Thankfully we still won but talk about embarrassing. 🥲

[Sanctus @Sanctus_90]

I play a lot of Marvel Rivals with a friend and feel like I play the game pretty well on average. Except for today.

Today I managed to pull an embarrassing stunt while playing support and drive my healing ult straight off the map and kill myself...I felt like such a dunce. 😭

[SchoolBus @Sometimes_Fendo]

Personally don’t care to hop onto the SF6 hate bandwagon from this patch but really am not a fan of Capcom players doing revisionist history for FG discourse

They were the main offenders when it came to dumping on other games to promote theirs, it was never cool to do this

Today marks 1 year since my cat passed unexpectedly and suddenly. And I still miss him all the time.

Hopefully I can find a new cat (or two) to bring some life to my empty home, but for today, I'm just remembering him.

[Sanctus @Sanctus_90]

And oh crap, I forgot the Tokon beta happens then too. 3 different games to play, hopefully I can manage that.

[Sanctus @Sanctus_90]

With all the fighting game stuff launching today, both for COTW and Avatar, I hoped to play tonight.

Instead, there's a high chance I'm going to be having to work. 🫤 I'm probably going to have to wait for the weekend to play anything...

[Sanctus @Sanctus_90]

I need to get chores/errands done early this weekend because I really want to play some video games. I've got a couple single player games I'm working on (Mina, DQ7 Reimagined) and want to see them through.

Also...I really want to play some fighting games.

Happy Independence Day!

I'm on vacation with family for the coming week which means I'm unfortunately missing out on both the Avatar beta and the new KOFXV patch...

Hopefully I'll be able to find some matches in the latter when I return home! 🥲
