Squadron Leader Ajay Ahuja sir. 🇮🇳

His MiG-21 was hit by a Pakistani missile, forcing him to eject behind enemy lines.

He landed safely but was captured by Pakistani forces after ejecting over territory under their control.

Reports stated that after being captured he was shot at point blank range, a brutal act against a pilot who had already ejected and was in enemy custody.

Yet the enemy could capture his body, not his honour he never betrayed his nation or surrendered the loyalty of an Indian Air Force Officer.

He returned to his motherland as a Martyr, honoured with the Vir Chakra, posthumously. 🇮🇳

Don’t be.

- Attention is the most valuable currency today.
- Most who post know they’re doing it to join the current herd. They want likes, views, approval from fellow friends (tribalism in 2026).
- IG posts may seem like they reflect a trend. And they do, but that’s now always temporary.
- IG also promotes anti-government posts much more than the counter view not because of some wild conspiracy, but because … that’s their business model - where eyeballs are currently.
- Ironically, what has destroyed the longevity of even genuine protests/revolutions is social media.
- Everyone who protests uses social media to amplify it because they want attention too. Everyone wants to be a visual hero in their own story.
- And when there’s too much amplification with well curated reels, attention fatigue sets in soon enough. And then, another “trend” soon replaces the previous one.
