I recently participated in a closed-door roundtable at the Salesforce Digital Leadership Dialogue, powered by The Economic Times.
It was an engaging discussion with my co-panelists, where we explored the merits, demerits and potential of AI from its role in governance to its economic, social and ethical implications.
I emphasized the need for collaboration between industry, academia and government to tackle reskilling to bridge the AI skills gap and reimagining our workforce in an AI-driven future.
Plenty of thought-provoking takeaways from the conversation!

Although valid questions have been raised about ESG, the need for companies to understand and address their externalities is likely to become essential to maintaining their social license. Read more here:
Was cautioned about "textbook empathy" or "self sabotaging empathy" by a 27 yo recently. "If someone really hurt you badly, would you want to empathise with them? Is it healthy to even try?"
That leads to a discomforting idea. Maybe each of us have hurt some one too? Arguably in a very small way! Justified by logic, valid reasons, greater good...
Quite often, we experience worry , anxiety and fear for those in our care. I find it doesn't help. Our confidence in their ability to thrive does, and of course, help helps, when sought! We must learn to express caring with positively valenced emotions.
"I don't think children should parent their parents, parents shouldn't parent children after a point. No grown up should parent other grown ups. " A 21 yo, far from home...
