@ThavasRas Kiwis working and living overseas face this when they give birth out of NZ. Our armed forces a big example. Need to apply for citizenship, no big deal. Now he wants to keep the kids here in NZ with the help of Work and Income as the mother is MIA.......
@Upquark8@SeanPlunket They haven't appeared in public so that we can hear the questions and what they replied. This is not the norm, they are hiding something and we the taxpayers are paying their massive legal fees to refuse to appear........
@williamson_nz Maiki Sherman is a virago! Next time Paul Goldsmith should show her his palm and say shush and refuse to answer her or speak until she shuts the f up!
Jacinda Ardern led the most fear fuelled campaign across the Western Hemisphere. She now wants you to forget every year she reduced your quality of life in order to fuel her narcissistic narrative of ‘kindness.’
@Mintando@saltyreigns@chrisluxonmp@EricaStanfordMP So attractive here with all that woke bs that my adult son won't come back and live and work with his Japanese wife who's a teacher. Most of my friends have 1 or both children working out of NZ, in jobs they can do here.
@6D_Renaissance @saltyreigns@alloyt00 How can you say housing is scarce? The 2 areas on my watchlist on Trade Me show 270 house for sale in small seaside town and 3500 in an Auckland suburb by the beach. They come and go and the total number remains steady. My NZ not fkd!
@saltyreigns@alloyt00 Do you all seriously think that the grandparents are all retired? Look at Winston, he's 80 still working. Working digitally has no age limit. Poppa works digitally and nana takes care of the mokopuna. Buy a 2nd house at the beach to take the kids to during the holidays. Love it!!
@saltyreigns Bring the parents in to look after the kids while both parents work. With a bit of luck that means a 2nd dwelling for the grandies, preferably at the beach. Winner winner chicken dinner!!
The Paati Māori dog and pony show drew to an end last Thursday. Three of their members were suspended.
The co leaders Rawiri and Debbie have thankfully disappeared for 21 days.
Unfortunately they have taken down the youngest MP from the Tainui Waikato electorate.
The leadership of the Māori Party should have protected this Tiktok celebrity.
The marae elders know a shooting star is called Iwiwehea, it burns brightly and soon disappears.
They have set a terrible example and abused their voters.
Trust is a precious political commodity but it ebbs in the face of egotism and selfishness. Now watch the tide turn against these political vandals.
They will learn the full meaning of the proverb, “pride comes before fall”.
This duo have done a great deal of harm to the cause of Māori representation. Their mana puffing and separatism is selling iwi short.
They have poisoned the well of good-will. They refuse to accept responsibility for their failings.
They have made themselves out to be victims. but the real casualties are the voters who backed them.
They refuse to apologise. Perversely they complain that no one asked them to apologise.
The true Rangatira understands whakaiti/humility. They do not wait to be told to do the right thing.
Whakakake means to be stiff necked and conceited. This is not the stance of a positive role model. Such an approach invites disaster.
How will Māori voters react?
The vast majority of Māori are weary of their contrived b-grade, haka-boogy strutting.
They smell poka noa and tinihanga, artificial and fake conduct.
Hustlers like this will never be entrusted with power by their fellow citizens.
The marae elders are sad however that the legacy of Tariana Turia and Dr Pita Sharples has been trashed.
Is it possible that these political delinquents will take the time to ‘noho whakatiki’, reflect, deliberate and weigh up the interests of the Māori community over their own egos?
The signs are not positive. These political culprits live
within an echo chamber of mirrors.
During the next 21 days, political life will move on. Matariki will emerge, and trees will be planted.
The tree of Maori politics has many branches. Time for voters to begin pruning and cut away the diseased limbs.
To do any less will lead to electoral die back.
@maplecove69@lu9776@TheZeitgeistNZ We need more David Seymours not less. How can you say he's racist when he's Maori?? You logic defies common sense. Do you just open your mouth because you like the sound of your own voice?
@lu9776@GrantRoydhouse@TheZeitgeistNZ How would the interviewee know your familys income? I'm a year younger than you and grew up in a town with many maori and there was no us and them. The world is every man for himself, stop pandering to the lazy and unmotivated.
@craig_farndale@TheZeitgeistNZ Immigrants to NZ do well because they recognise the opportunities available that the locals do not. Some so used to handouts they don't know how to work, some never taught to better themselves and their family through hard work and compounding interest!
@cookersunited@buddylucus@actparty I guess it's not until you get into that position of being terminally ill or having a parent or loved one suffering that you fully understand that the will to carry on fades. Everyones pain threshold is different. My ex signed off at 57, where there's a will there's a way.
@cookersunited@buddylucus@actparty That's a sick comment especially having just attended the funeral of a 40 plus kiwi male who died of suicide. No issue with end of life if you have terminal disease but guys in their 40's and 50's committing suicide having had no mental health issues previously is sad.
@actparty Sadly there are many not reaching retirement age thanks to the side effects of the experimental covid jab. Or they get to 65 have another booster as is still recommended by Govt and then its good night nurse!
@Peanutio@gaye_ess@DerkinsSuzie So its ok for a journalist to write in a public newspaper and use the word but no one is allowed to talk about it? Why say it then?
