BREAKING: South Korea's KOSPI has crashed -6% from today's high as foreign investors continue to sell ahead of Samsung's earnings report.

Foreign investors sold ₩2,200,000,000,000 worth of Korean stocks today, marking their 11th consecutive day of net selling.

“After multiple abandoned court dates, Annie’s court case against her abuser resulted in not guilty verdicts and a hung jury.

In a rare case, she is now suing the Crown Prosecution Service. Her lawyers, at the Centre for Women’s Justice argue that the prosecution was so badly executed it amounted to a breach of her human rights.

A 2025 inspection report into adult rape cases found there needed to be better identification and consideration for bad character applications to strengthen prosecution cases, stating:

In fewer than two in 10 cases where it was relevant did the prosecutor address how bad character relating to the suspect could have strengthened the case”.

If one public servant can spend five years on taxpayer-funded garden leave, what else is buried in the system?

Taxpayers deserve answers, not excuses and certainly not another five years of being fleeced.

One case is enough to expose a serious failure of accountability. Now it's time to find out whether it's an isolated incident or just the tip of the iceberg.

New Zealand First says Waikato Regional Council’s Plan Change 1 must be paused before it becomes a bureaucratic death sentence for farmers and growers across the region.
