JEREMIAH 15: 16 ♥️📖 “I found Your Word and I ate it, And it became to me the Joy and Delight of my heart…” Come Quickly LORD Jesus! 🙏

An encounter with the LORD in a hotel room one night in April 1978 abruptly changed my heart and direction in life. I was a lost teenager and a wretched sinner (the worst!) unaware of the eternity I was heading for. I opened the Gideon Bible I found in the room and it opened to these verses:

*~ REVELATION 22: 13-14 ~*. ♥️📖
“And behold, I am coming quickly,
and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
I am the Alpha and the Omega,
the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” 🙏

I was instantly filled with holy fear!
I knew that if what I read was true (and instinctively I knew it was!), I was in terrible trouble! I did NOT want to be “rewarded”for my work and the things I had done! I fell on my face and said, “I don’t know who You are that wrote this, but I believe it! I would like to know You. I need help! Save me please!”

All these years later and He has never left me. The journey has at times been blessed, joyful, difficult and some-times so hard I thought I wanted to die. But HE is faithful! (Jude 1: 24-25)

That night He pulled back the veil that had been over my heart and showed me I desperately needed a Savior.

And then He showed me He had already provided one… Christ Jesus my LORD!

@DefiyantlyFree I have four grown children. Looking back, I wish I would have had more! The four God gave me have been the best gifts ever. My fondest memories are of the days when they were all little and our home was filled with love and laughter. I pray for you a third and even a fourth! 🙏♥️
