Today is the last day of April. It’s been an amazing month🥰 I hope and pray May brings us peace of mind, genuine love, happiness and healing 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻. Happy New Month Folks❤️❤️❤️
By the afternoon of Day 3, the results were already on display, and some were even ready to be tasted.
In Gulu, participants are turning practical learning into real products, including soap, kitchen gardens, nutrition porridge, plastic recycling, and other livelihood-focused solutions. What is emerging is more than hands-on training. It is confidence, creativity, teamwork, and the ability to turn ideas into products with real community value.
This is what happens when skills development becomes practical, relevant, and rooted in everyday realities.

A new journey has begun at Iganga High School SSS.
With support from our #ClimateFellow, we held an inception meeting to establish the #GreenMaster Club, bringing together the club leaders and patrons to introduce the programme, share how the club will work, and shape a common vision for the term ahead.
We were also glad to develop this term’s work plan together, an important step in turning ideas into action.
It is always powerful to see young people step into spaces of leadership, learning, and climate action with energy and purpose. We look forward to seeing this club grow into a strong platform for environmental awareness, responsibility, and change.

In honour of International Women’s Day, this space was a tribute to the resilient women farmers on the riparian areas of the Nile. We would like to send a special thank you to the inspired Artivists who used their talent to translate climate crisis into visual hope, their facilitators during the Artivism workshop, and the artists who exhibited. To the G4CA staff, the amazing team at @AllThingsJinja, and the entire Jinja community, thank you for picking up a brush for Mother Earth and proving that art is a powerful tool for gender and environmental justice.

PHOTOS: There were a forest of highlights to look out for at the Jinja Golf Club on Sunday, and this right here stood out as one of those moments that admin fell for!
It's only on rare occasions when @starworldwonder gets to move out with his crown, and yet when he does, the day gets a little hyper. No wonder it didn't even rain that day! 😂😂
Huge congrats to @SandraKOfficial, who too got a chance to tap the "gumitte" energies from the crown.

As we build momentum toward our Pour & Paint Artivism Experience this 8th March, the work begins now.
For two days, the Artivism Workshop is happening at Lishi Resort Hotel, bringing together creatives, advocates, and bold thinkers who understand that art can be a disruption, a dialogue, and it holds power.
Artivism sits at the intersection of creativity and justice. In a time of climate crisis, gender inequality, and shrinking civic spaces, we need new languages of resistance and art speaks where policy sometimes cannot.
Over the last two days, participants explored:
• Explore how storytelling and visual expression can advance women’s rights
• Translate climate justice into accessible, emotional narratives
• Reclaim creative spaces as platforms for civic engagement
By 8th March, we will be pouring conviction, courage, and community onto canvas.
If you believe advocacy should be felt , not just heard ,this movement is for you.

Our CSW70 Position is here.
After close coordination with the #ClimateFellows, we present 2026 policy stance ahead of the 70th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women.
We call for:
✔️ Survivor-centred & accessible justice systems
✔️ Gender-responsive climate governance
✔️ Institutionalized young feminist leadership
Climate justice is gender justice. Implementation must replace rhetoric.

We’re bringing the conversation of local #ClimateLeadership into the spotlight through the #ECOSEFproject, focused on strengthening Environmental Local Subcommittees.
This work is about shifting power, improving governance, and building climate solutions rooted in real lived experience.
Here’s what our speakers shared on air:
"Women spend the most time working with the environment. That daily interaction builds knowledge, responsibility, and a relationship with nature that is essential for environmental preservation.”~ @SandraKOfficial
“Care responsibilities limit women’s time and mobility. That’s why Environmental Local Subcommittees must intentionally bring women into leadership, so change can start where power is closest to the community.”~ @ClaireLokeris
When women lead locally, climate action becomes real, accountable, and sustainable.
What would change if women were fully leading local environmental governance in your community?
